The JJRC H11D falls into the "toy" drone class, but don't be fooled because it comes with a host of features and upgraded specifications that puts it out in front of the Syma X5C and WLToys V686.

The JJRC H11D camera is pretty good as well. It's a 720P / 2MP camera that has the ability to save video and still images.

JJRC H11D Camera and FPV System

Drones with Cameras are always more appealing than those without, and the JJRC H11D camera is pretty good. It's a 720P / 2MP camera that has the ability to save video and still images.

The camera itself can be moved up and down manually depending on the type of flight you're performing.

The FPV system works up to 50 yards away, but you will notice lag when you go farther out than 30 yards, and is pretty unusable after 50 yards, so if you plan to fly longer distances (like out to 120 meters), you'll want to do this via line of sight.

On the plus side, the JJRC H11D has it's own FPV monitor included in the box that displays current drone battery status as well as other vital information.

A 4GB microSD card is included, but you can put in a 16GB with no issues.

JJRC H11D Flight Range

While other drones can fly further distances, the H11D seems to fall off the board around the 120 meter mark consistently, even when there are no obstructions.

It's not such a bad thing as it is just annoying if you happen to fly out in that range.

If you do fly out to where the H11D is dropping in and out of signal, you just need to hit the one touch automatic return button and the drone will come back to it's starting point on its own.

JJRC H11D Batteries

The batteries on the H11D last about 10 minutes without the camera, and 5-7 with the camera recording. The battery can be removed and a fresh one put in to extend your runtime.

The batteries take between 60 and 90 minutes to charge depending on how dead they are.

JJRC H11D Review Conclusion

The JJRC H11D is a great drone to get started with FPV drone flight. It's forgiving and easy to fly.
